GenoMed4All is a European initiative aimed at transforming the diagnosis, treatment, and prediction of haematological diseases by harnessing the power of Artificial Intelligence (AI). The project focuses on creating a secure and privacy-respectful data-sharing platform that utilizes advanced AI models, including deep learning and generative models, to analyze pooled genomic, clinical, and other “-omics” health data. This federated learning approach enables collaborative, cross-border data sharing without directly exchanging sensitive patient information.
By integrating high-performance computing facilities, hospital registries, and data processing tools, GenoMed4All seeks to advance personalized medicine in both common and rare haematological diseases. The project encompasses three real-world pilots targeting Myelodysplastic Syndromes, Multiple Myeloma, and Sickle Cell Disease, aiming to enhance diagnostic accuracy, prognostic assessments, and treatment strategies through AI-driven insights. The consortium comprises 23 partners across Europe, including healthcare professionals, researchers, and digital service providers, collaborating to create a standardized, interoperable platform that complies with data protection regulations and ethical principles.
